PURPOSE

The Team Leaders purpose is assist the manager in day to day operations of the car wash in the most efficient and effective manner. The Team Leader will be acting manager when manager is not on site and knowledgeable enough to continue to run operations at the standards Club Carwash expects.

Job Duties

  • Assist in training new employees and continually train existing employees
  • Delegate tasks to employees
  • Lead employees
  • Cleaning of entire facility, including digging and sucking the pit
  • Resolve conflict with customers and with employees
  • Fix minor mechanical problems
  • Identify problems with the car wash equipment, solve or direct to correct person
  • Account for all money, tips and shortages that occur
  • Work with Manager on goals and expectations
  • Identify the perfect clean car
  • Account for work place safety

DEVELOPING SKILLS

  • Able to work independently and efficiently

Education and Experience

  • High school education or higher

Compensation

HOURS WORKED

  • 25-40+ hours a week

PURPOSE

Club Carwash desires cashiers that are enthusiastic, motivated and have exceptional customer service skills. This multitasking job is vital to the efficiency and productivity of the car wash process. Cashiers not only finalize customer’s car wash transactions they provide information to customers over the phone, organize all lobby merchandise and prepare many computer generated forms and information

KEY ACTIVITIES

JOB DUTIES

  • The job is fast-paced.
  • Important to be able to multi-task.

  • Ability to sell wash packages according to company initiatives.
  • Assist wash staff in maintaining flow of cars in and out of tunnel, as well as, hand-drying cars.
  • Wash and fold towels, small loads of laundry.

PAY, INCENTIVES, AND CONDITIONS INCOME

  • Pay structure based on hourly rate.
  • Starting rate is minimum wage plus commission.
  • Commission based on sales of wash packages and prepaids.

WORK DAYS

  • Full time is 5+ days a week, part time is three days a week.
  • Work days are on an average 7 1/2 hours a day.
  • Open 7 days a week, hours vary depending on the time of year.
  • We are closed only two days each year: Thanksgiving and Christmas.
  • All other holidays are considered a regular work day.

JOB DUTIES

  • Ability to guide customer on to conveyor in a safe manner
  • Responsible for cleaning dirt and debris off vehicles exterior and wheel wells
  • Responsible for cleanliness of parking lot, tunnel and back room areas
  • Must be able to pick up towels from parking lot
  • Collect and lift up to 100 pounds of trash and place in dumpster
  • Must be alert to customers, tunnel equipment and surroundings in general

WORK DAYS

  • Full time is 5 days a week, part time is at least three days a week
  • Work days are on an average 4-8 hours a day
  • Tiger Express is open 7 days a week

    Job Duties

    • Manage training or schedule training for all new employees and continually train existing employees
    • Supervise and delegate tasks to employees
    • Lead employees
    • Cleaning of entire facility, including digging and sucking the pit
    • Able to communicate and help customers
    • Resolve conflict with customers and with employees
    • Fix minor to major mechanical problems
    • Able to identify problems with the car wash equipment, solve or direct to correct person
    • Handle all end of the day money, tips and shortages that occur
    • Work with Area Manager on goals and numbers
    • Able to schedule employees and training meetings
    • Able to interview, hire and fire employees
    • Able to identify the perfect clean car
    • Account for work place safety
    • Handle chemicals in a safe manner and know the cost per car

    Education and Experience

    • High school education or higher
    • Knowledge of business and management practices
    • Some mechanic knowledge
    • Basic in customer service
    • Preferred management experience

    Compensation

    • Weekly salary is based on a 55 hour work week.
    • Monthly bonus based on profit, labor, chemical and dollar/car (if applicable)

    VACATION

    After one year:
    • Managers employed one full year or more are allowed two weeks paid vacation.
    • Managers are expected to fill in for assistant managers during vacations

    HOURS WORKED

    • On the job at 6:30am Monday through Saturday and 7:30am Sunday
    • Two days off per week
    • On call for necessary maintenance either scheduled or not
    • Excessive cleanup and housekeeping that cannot be completed during regular hours
    • Lunches are unscheduled; eat when you can and bring your own
    • Average work week is 55 hours
    • Average day is 10 hours
